One of our loyal readers sends in a link for a new camp stove that has a port for charging your mobile phone. We haven’t tested it but the Biolite is worth a look. Still doesn’t answer the question of no cell or wifi service in the backcountry but a reliable lightweight charging source for a reader so you can take your digital trail guide into the backcountry is not all the far off.
