since. His work as a hydrogeologist has taken him to many of the desert
locations described in this book, including the Inyo Mountains, Providence
Mountains, New York Mountains, Lanfair Valley, and the Lower Virgin River
Valley.
A graduate in geology of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, Andy is a passionate collector of books on mountaineering and the history of the desert southwest.
